Your role purpose adds powerful context to responsibilities and achievements. Ask yourself;

Why was I appointed?
What purpose does/did my role serve?
What problem am/was I solving?

Summarise it. No more than 3 or 4 lines.
Learn how to talk to it and make it relevant to the role at hand.
