Writing your #CV?
Breaking News!
The real estate on your front page is valuable.
Name, contact details, obviously important - but 1/4 of the page? No!
Written in the 3rd person? No!
Cliche and unsupported claims to skills and competencies. No!
Keep in mind that the #recruiter - on the first pass, should not need to go trawling for information. A list of competencies and line after line of definition will not sell you. You're basically telling the reader to suck eggs.
If you're engaging a CV writer and they don't drill you on your outcomes - think again. Everyone - no matter at what level you operate, must have outcomes. And that's why you'll get hired!
Think OUTCOMES!
